Abstract
Chemical methods of preparing ceramic films and coatings have become a n important technique for fabricating piezoelectric, ferroelectric and conventional ceramic coatings. This paper reviews sol gel and metallo rganic deposition and discusses developments in processing which lead to applications as diverse as electronic devices and protective coatin gs.
