MOVES - INCORPORATING DEVELOPMENTAL SERVICES ON A PEDIATRIC MOBILE HEALTH-CARE CLINIC

The Mobile Van Evaluation and Screening (MoVES) program was establishe d in 1994 to provide developmental screening and evaluation services t o the children receiving primary pediatric medical care from the Georg etown University Pediatric Mobile Clinic. The program grew rapidly and presently consists of an array of developmental services in addition to evaluation and screening. The purpose of this article is to describ e the developmental services that have been established as part of a p ediatric mobile health care clinic. A descriptive analysis of the chil dren seen during the first year of the program will also be provided.
