Abstract
The corticomedullary distribution and the follicular pattern reflect t he degree as well as nature of antigenic stimulation of the lymph node s. There has been much greater thrust to study the structural and func tional organisation of lymph nodes for immunobiological and clinical r easons. The information on this aspect pertaining to buffalo is lackin g in literature, hence, this attempt to elucidate some cortico medulla ry features of the buffalo lymph nodes was made.
