Abstract
Reactions of unsubstituted and 2-substituted allyl phenyl sulfides wit h tris(trimethylsilyl)silane provide the corresponding allyl tris(trim ethylsilyl)silanes rapidly and in high yields while the related reacti ons with allyl phenyl sulfones occur more slowly and in moderate yield s.
