Abstract
Radical allylations with 2-functionalized allyl tris(trimethylsilyl)si lanes occur under mild conditions in good to excellent yield provided that the radical precursor and the silane have the appropriate electro nic pairing. These reactions offer tin-free alternatives for tansforma tions that are currently conducted with allylstannanes. Copyright (C) 1996 Elsevier Science Ltd
