P. Biondi et al., EXPERIMENTAL DETERMINATIONS OF THE NOISE RISK CAUSED BY THE USE OF MACHINES IN THE FOOD PLANTS, Industrie alimentari, 35(351), 1996, pp. 905-915
The Authors report the results of a research on the work conditions of
agroindustrial plant employees, with particular regard to noise pollu
tion. After several years from a first research (4) and, above all, at
five years from the coming operative the Legislative Decree 277/91, n
othing seems to be changed: noise levels inside processing industries
are still so high to make considerable the risk of otopathies for plan
t workers. Furthermore, there is no trace of the use of health and saf
ety personal means (such as earphones or auricolar inserts), even if s
ome managers stare to show the intention of proceeding to the acoustic
al reclamation of plants and rooms.
