Auger decay of resonantly excited 3d(5/2,3/2)(-1)np states (n = 5, 6,
7, 8 and 9) in Kr has been studied by means of synchrotron-radiation-e
xcited electron spectroscopy utilizing the Auger resonant Raman effect
. Many transitions have been identified for the first time. Shake prob
abilities as well as branching ratios of final state parent multiplets
have been studied for a wide variety of principal quantum numbers. Va
lence photoelectron satellite intensities have been found to increase
clearly at resonance photon energies.
