Abstract
Recurrent respiratory papillomatosis (RRP) is an uncommon clinical dis order of the respiratory epithelium caused by human papillomavirus. It shares an identical viral etiology with genital condyloma and, in all likelihood, is transmitted at the time of birth (juvenile onset) or t hrough intimate sexual contact (adult onset).
