Multi-modelling is currently the prevailing trend in object-oriented m
ethodology. Within this context, behavioural modelling dominates as a
promising modelling tool. This paper presents a comparison of behaviou
ral models in recent multi-modelled object-oriented methodologies. The
paper discusses its relationship with conventional methodologies, in
particular, the state-oriented and event-oriented emphases. An inferen
ce is drawn on the nature of dynamic system behaviour. Specifically th
is yields behavioural concepts, behavioural primitives and behavioural
relationships.
