Abstract
A series of eight potential peptidomimetics has been synthesised based on the use of gluco- and allo- carbohydrate derivatives as scaffolds to support appropriate side-chains which mimic the D- and L-aminoacid residues of the cyclic peptide endothelin antagonist BQ123.
