INVESTIGATION OF THE MASTICATION OF NATUR AL-RUBBER IN THE INTERNAL MIXER

The preparation of elastomer blends in the manufacture of compounds wi ll be obtained in a very small area of viscosity. Particularly during the processing with NR problems occur because it must be masticated. F or the wide applications of NR, mastication will be taken into account in simulations later It proves to advantage to measure the thermal an d mechanical mastication record separately in order to assess the caus es oi the thermal and mechanical mastication. For presentation oi this strategy the results of internal mixer and DMA measurements are given in this paper.
