The effect of ultrasound and electric field on the formation of porous
structure in hydrogels was considered. It was shown that the combined
effect of ultrasound and electric field results in the formation of f
inely porous adsorbents with a large specific surface area. Possible m
echanisms of gel structuring under external effects are discussed.
