Abstract
A geophysical well survey (GWS) data interpretation method (incorporat ing wide-band acoustic logging and standard equipment) helps estimate current oil saturation ratio and define pay-zone location in cased hol es. The standardised AKSH domestic equipment has passed measurement, p rocessing and comprehensive data interpretation tests for more than 20 wells featuring various geology and measurement conditions typical fo r Russian oil fields.
