Abstract
Comparative tests of materials, both traditional and innovative powder ed steels, applied to friction pairs (guide tool hubs and shaft protec tion barrel) have been performed, and hydraulic/abrasive resistance of such steels is assessed. Their performance has been tested in assembl y with submerged pumps in field conditions.
