Abstract
We study the beta --> 0, H > H-c = 2m/pi limit of the sine-Gordon mode l in the presence of a kink-inducing ''magnetic field'' H. The thermod ynamic Bethe ansatz equations are solved, yielding a different bosonic field dispersion law than in the zero-charge sector. Some properties of the kink condensate are studied.
