Abstract
The properties of the autoionizing 3p(5)11s'[1/21](1) Argon I level ha ve been experimentally studied in the presence of a strong magnetic fi eld (2.14-2.22 T). Quasi-Landau type oscillations have been observed i n the width and position of the 3p(5)4p[1/2](0)-3p(5)11s'[1/2](1) exci ting transition. The results provide an additional support for earlier observations of Lemoigne et al. [7]. No evidence for similar oscillat ions in magnetic field dependence of the Fano q parameter was observed .
