Abstract
The kinetics of photo-oxidation of polyamides is studied and analyzed by taking into account simultaneously the features inherent to both ho mogeneous and inhomogeneous oxidation kinetics. A substantial extensio n of the range of the measured rates to the region of aftereffect of t he UV irradiation allowed us to estimate the ratio of the homogeneous and inhomogeneous stages of the process in terms of fractal kinetic mo del.
