Abstract
Enantiomeric separation of 11 dansyl amino acids is reported using mic ellar electrokinetic capillary chromatography. The chiral phase consis ted of a copper complex of N, N-di-decyl-D-alanine dissolved in the ru nning buffer. Several factors affecting the separation were studied. T he partitioning of the copper complex between the micelles and the buf fer interface was investigated, and an attempt to describe the mechani sm of separation is presented.
