Abstract
In this paper we semiclassically calculate the quantum corrections to the classical energy of a vortex configuration in a two-dimensional XY antiferromagnet arising from long-wavelength antiferromagnetic spin w aves. This is done by calculating the zero-point energy due to the ant iferromagnetic spin waves in the presence of the vortex background. Co pyright (C) 1996 Elsevier Science Ltd
