Abstract
A review of developments by TsNIITMash of corrosion-resistant material s for various application is given. Methods for justifying the accepta ble defect size, applying the concept of ''leakage before fracture'', and performing a reconditioning heat treatment that provide operationa l reliability and warranted lifetime of the equipment are described.
