Abstract
Modern technologies of electroplating and application of conversion co atings are surveyed. Corrosion characteristics of protective electropl ates used most frequently-zinc, cadmium, and associated alloy coatings -are given. Bath compositions and plating conditions are presented. Th e results of corrosion tests of certain protective coatings are shown.
