Ajc. Varandas et Hg. Yu, SPECTRAL QUANTIZATION OF TRANSITION-STATE RESONANCES IN COLLINEAR MU-2 AND MN+D-2 COLLISIONS(H), Chemical physics, 209(1), 1996, pp. 31-40
The Felt-Fleck split operator technique has been employed to study the
dynamical resonances of the collinear Mu + H-2 and Mu + D-2 collision
s using the DMBE potential energy surface for H-3. Twelve transition s
tate resonances are reported for Mu + H-2, and sixteen for Mu + D-2. I
t has also been found that the conventional resonances form two progre
ssions for Mu + H-2 and three for Mu + D-2, while the barrier resonanc
es appear at low energies.
