Abstract
Fibrous electrolytic manganese dioxide(EMD) was prepared from manganou s chloride solution by electrolyzing at 90 similar to 95 degrees C wit h graphite anode, EMD has the exchange properties with cations in aque ous chloride solutions, A lithium type ionic-sieve made from EMD subst rate may be used, for selective adsorption of trace lithium from sea w ater with an efficiency of about 90% yield.
