Abstract
H-1- and C-13-NMR spectral data are presented for ajmaline (1), 17-O-a cetylajmaline (2), isoajmaline (3), isosandwichine (4), rauflorine (5) , vincamajine (6), and vincamedine (7). Some corrections to the previo usly reported assignments of compound 6 (H-1-NMR) and compounds 3, 4 a nd 7 (C-13-NMR) have been made. The C-13-NMR chemical shifts for raufl orine 5 are presented for the first time.
