Abstract
Recent developments of polyphasic tumor detection and tumor therapy in cluding applications of dimeric cyclodextrin inclusion complexes of hi gh affinity for Photodynamic Tumor Therapy (PTT) porphyrinoids are dis cussed in the light of future applications of similar methodology to g eneral tumor chemotherapy. These approaches hopefully will end the mar tyrium of patients undergoing tumor chemotherapy today.
