Abstract
We have attempted to review the best available evidence for the common est gynaecological endoscopic procedures. Controlled studies are the e xception rather than the rule, and randomized studies are even rarer, Therefore, the results of large, uncontrolled series must be acknowled ged. As a result, for most procedures, sufficient information is now a vailable regarding indications, efficacy, and complications to determi ne their role in routine clinical practice.
