Abstract
The cost of production per kg of mutton over cost C (commercial cost o f production) in winter under intensive and semi-intensive was Rs 33.7 1 and 32.26, whereas in spring, it was Rs 33.28 and 29.82 respectively . The cost of mutton production is comparatively low In spring born la mbs under semi-intensive system. Therefore sheep enterprise should inv ariably be encouraged for broiler lamb production under semi-intensive system for the maximum economic gain to the sheep entreprenuer.
