A 2-year-old male Himalayan cat weighing 4.0 kg was presented for circ
umscribed severe facial dermatitis. The skin lesions were seen only on
the face without evidence of parasitic and fungal infection. The cond
ition was diagnosed as eosinophilic plaque by the histopathological ex
amination of skin biopsy samples. Excellent improvement was achieved a
fter corticosteroid and antibiotic therapy for 3 weeks. Thereafter, th
e patient has had a good skin condition without any further medication
