Abstract
Numerical results are presented for a contraction flow of a non-Newton ian fluid. In this work a new finite-volume algorithm was used and var ious non-Newtonian fluid models (with and without elasticity) were stu died. The results are discussed and compared to experimental results o btained with a dilute polymer solution.
