Abstract
The design and development of a polymer gel that can selectively absor b and release metal ions is investigated; the recovery of metal ions h as a cooperative switching effect. A synthetic method for producing po lymers that can thermodynamically memorize a conformation and selectiv ely absorb a target molecule is proposed.
