Abstract
A simple and efficient method was developed for the synthesis of selec ted dialkyl, alkylaryl and diaryl sulfones via oxidizing respective su lfides with hydrogen peroxide in the two-phase, water-dichloroethane s ystem in the presence of Na2WO4 and [Bu(4)N]Cl.
