Abstract
The new local composition model for excess Gibbs energy [1,2] is exten ded for coassaciating and multicomponent mixtures. The applicability o f the model to calculation of isothermal VLE has been checked on a ser ies of binary 1-alkanol-n-alkanol systems and ternary systems formed b y 1-alkanols and hydrocarbons. The obtained results show the superiori ty of the proposed model over previous (the NRTL, NRTLm, NRTLSOL, UNIQ UAC) with the same number of adjustable parameters. Some recommendatio ns about the use of the model have been made.
