Abstract
In the paper, an analysis of a fringe pattern field with an observatio n of a chosen hinge course, for defining the profile of a refractive i ndex of planar waveguides are proposed. With an application of the mea suring method described, refractive profiles of planar waveguides prod uced in the soda-lime glass by means of an ion exchange Ag+<->Na+ were examined.
