Abstract
Making use of the Schwarz-Christoffel conformal transformation, the fi eld distribution in stripline of the waveguide-stripline-coaxial direc tional coupler is derived. The coupling coefficient, directivity and t he relationships between coupling coefficient and geometric dimensions are obtained by the coupling theory of the small hole. Comparison of calculated result and measured value of manufactured couplers shows th at the difference between them is only 1.64%.
