Abstract
The invariant-mass distributions for the production of W(-)Z(0) (W(+)Z (0)) via gauge-boson fusion at pp colliders of energies 16 and 40 TeV are calculated using the effective-W approximation supplemented by K-m atrix unitarization. Included in the unitarization is the effect of tr ansverse degrees of freedom on the production of W(L)(-)Z(L)(0) (W(L)( +)Z(L)(0)) gauge bosons. These results are compared with the correspon ding results for W(-)Z(0) (W(+)Z(0)) production via q ($) over bar q a nnihilation.
