Abstract
We herein report an 83-year-old man who presented with a pleural tumor in the right thorax. The tumor was surgically resected and histopatho logically diagnosed as ectopic primary pleural thymoma lacking any evi dence of a mediastinal tumor. The clinicopathological aspects of this unusual thymoma are also discussed.
