Abstract
Detergents form structures in solution, and the structures obtained wh en monomers polymerize in detergent solutions mimic elements of these self-assembled structures. Very recent efforts have succeeded in copyi ng the micellar structures in some oil in water microemulsions, but ha ve found that less structure is retained when water in oil microemulsi ons and bicontinuous systems are used.
