G. Seewald et al., MEASUREMENTS OF THE COLLECTIVE NUCLEAR-SPIN DYNAMICS OF CO-59 IN HCP AND FCC CO AT TEMPERATURES BELOW 100 MK BY CALORIMETRIC DETECTION OF NMR, Physics letters. A, 220(4-5), 1996, pp. 287-292
Measurements of calorimetrically detected nuclear magnetic resonance w
ere performed on stable Co-59 (I-pi = 7/2(+)) in hcp Co and fcc Co at
temperatures between 10 and 35 mK in external magnetic fields B-ext be
tween 0 and 20 kG. The frequency shift of the Co-59 nuclear spin syste
m due to collective nuclear spin dynamics (excitation of nuclear magno
ns) has been observed for the first time for a ferromagnetic metal.
