Sorption of alkali and alkaline-earth metal ions by composite sorbent
based on clinoptilolite and antimony ferrocyanide has been investigate
d under static conditions. Distribution coefficients for the ions exch
anged have been calculated from sorption isotherms for HCl-Me(+)Cl (1/
2Me(2+)Cl(2)) systems. Equations that describe the change in the distr
ibution coefficient with the initial concentration of metal ions in th
e solution have been obtained on the basis of experimental data.
