WATER DYNAMICS AND VARIABILITY OF WATER T EMPERATURE NEAR THE NORTH-CAUCASIAN COAST OF THE BLACK-SEA

The dynamic of currents and variability of water temperature have been examined on the basis of three hydrophysical surveys and velocity and temperature measurement at 5 moored autonomous buoy stations in the B lack Sea 20-mile nearshore zone. Statistic characteristics of currents and water temperature, parameters of their variability, estimates of total kinetic energy of current field and energy contributions in diff erent scale of motion are presented. Fundamental differences between c urrent regimes near the shore and in the open sea in the area of midst ream of the Main Black Sea Current are shown here.
