Abstract
A photorefractive optical processor for accurate holographic associati ve memory that uses a spatial-encoding method is presented. The associ ative memory of both binary images and gray-scale images can be perfor med with this processor. The experimental results have proved that spa tial-encoding can efficiently increase the addressing accuracy of real -time holographic associative memory in a simple way.
