Jr. Macdonald, COMMENT - REEVALUATION OF A COULOMB-FLUCTUATION FREQUENCY-RESPONSE MODEL FOR DISORDERED CONDUCTORS, Physics letters. A, 220(6), 1996, pp. 351-360
Various problems and limitations of a recent Coulomb-fluctuation model
by Bondarev and Pikhitsa [Phys. Lett. A 196 (1994) 247] for the trans
ient and frequency response of disordered conductors are considered. T
he model can be expressed in terms of a simple Gaussian distribution o
f activation energies, contains an inconsistency, and is of much less
general applicability than is claimed by its authors.
