Abstract
The namanereid Lycastopsis littoralis is recorded from the north-easte rn Atlantic for the first time. Specimens discovered in brackish habit ats in the Ria de Bilbao, north-eastern Spain are described, together with ecological notes; records of namanereid species from the north-ea stern Atlantic and adjacent seas are reviewed.
