Abstract
The synthesis of alkylphenols, alkylanilines and nitro-aromatic compou nds with different substituents in the aromatic ring on highly active and selective zeolite catalysts has been studied with regard to zeolit e acidity and structure. These studies open the way for solid, environ mentally friendly catalysts instead of liquid ones producing harmful l iquid wastes in huge amounts.
