Abstract
Photoelectron data are reported for the first measurement of even-pari ty hollow lithium states produced by triple photoexcitation of laser-e xcited lithium atoms. Calculations using the R-matrix approximation of the energy of these states and partial photoionization cross sections are also reported. Experiment and theory are in excellent agreement o n a relative scale.
