Abstract
Taking as a basis the results already achieved in the field, the autho rs examine new aspects of the theory of recycling systems. Closely rel ated to the concept of the residence-time distribution of stream eleme nts, they serve to enhance the efficiency of chemical-engineering unit s and operations in various sectors of the chemical process industry.
