Vp. Patlasov et Va. Gotlib, METHOD OF INTEGRAL MANIFOLDS IN QUALITATIVE STUDIES OF REACTIVE RECTIFICATION, Theoretical foundations of chemical engineering, 29(6), 1995, pp. 565-573
First integrals are obtained for the dynamic systems of nonreactive re
ctification and rectification with a chemical reaction of the general
type. The integrals are independent of the specific mathematical model
s describing these processes. The use of integral manifolds in the qua
litative studies of these processes made it possible to reduce the dim
ension of the dynamic systems. The use of integral invariants is exemp
lified in the qualitative study of a batch reactive rectification desc
ribed by two dynamic systems. Extractive rectification is studied in t
erms of integral manifolds.
