T. Gemma et al., SEROLOGICAL ANALYSIS OF CANINE-DISTEMPER VIRUS USING AN IMMUNOCAPTUREELISA, Journal of veterinary medical science, 58(8), 1996, pp. 791-794
AS a rapid and sensitive method to detect canine distemper virus (CDV)
, an immunocapture enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was perfo
rmed. The sensitivity and specificity of the immunocapture ELISA were
considered to be high enough. Virus neutralizing (VN) test was also es
tablished using the immunocapture ELISA. By using this test, the diffe
rent cross VN titers between sera of dogs experimentally infected with
the Onderstepoort strain and those with a field isolate of CDV were o
bserved.
