A new species of cypraeid gastropod, Proadusta goedertorum n. sp., is
reported from the middle lower Eocene (''Capay Stage'') upper part of
the Crescent Formation, Thurston County, Washington. This new species

1894 was previously known only from the lower Eocene to lower Miocene
of Europe, Myanmar (= Burma), and Indonesia.
