Abstract
Abundance and activity of bacteria and extracellular enzyme activity, increased through fish ponds and tanks. Outputs of bacteria, glucose m ineralization capacity and extracellular enzyme capacity, which origin ated in the ponds/tanks, were calculated. Management variables (i.e. t otal fish weight, fish number, feed weight) were found to be poor pred ictors of output variables.
